Romain Breuil is Director of Investments at Tikehau Star Infra Partners, LLC (“Star”). Mr. Breuil joined Star in 2016. He has been a member of the deal team that successfully closed Star’s portfolio investments in the Digital Crossroads Data Center, in the University of Texas at Dallas Phases III and IV, in the Maryland MTA Purple Line (2022 closing) and in a confidential US airport project.

Mr. Breuil focuses on projects across all sectors. His deal team responsibilities include the execution of transactions and acquisitions over various sectors as well as supporting project development activities.

Previously, Mr. Breuil worked for four years in project finance at HSBC and CACIB.  While at HSBC, he was instrumental in obtaining approximately $1.3 billion of credit-approved loan and bond underwriting commitments for infrastructure projects — including the approximately $2.5 billion Champlain Bridge project. Prior to HSBC, Mr. Breuil was part of CACIB’s project finance team, where he acted as financial advisor on infrastructure and power transactions in Latin America.

Mr. Breuil holds a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering and another master’s degree in Project and Structured Finance from foremost French graduate schools—ENSTA ParisTech, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and Université Paris Ouest.

Mr. Breuil is fluent in French.
