Supporting Bill Marino with considerable relevant business experience is Sal Mancini. Mr. Mancini was formerly CEO of Skanska USA Civil. In that capacity his responsibilities included running one of the top, large, well respected civil construction firms in the U.S., with revenues of several billion dollars annually.
Mancini commanded the company while they undertook noteworthy projects such as the Second Avenue Subway, the 7 Line, the Cooper River Bridge and the Newtown Creek Waste Water Treatment plant. His responsibilities included the entire U.S. and Canada. In this capacity he often joint ventured with America’s top construction firms who are the leading concessionaires in today’s U.S. and Canadian P3 market.
Both Marino and Mancini recognized that their strong connectivity and understanding of the changing U.S. market place afforded a tremendous opportunity if they could put together an unparalleled team to monetize their relationships in favor of Star’s investors. They started to build that team by inviting one of the most highly respected names in the P3 market, Christophe Petit, to join the business.
